Denis Meenan of Campbeltown was a skipper onboard dual purpose ringnetter and trawler Stella Maris, CN158. He bought her in 1984 and, in 1985, presented the ringnet winch from this boat to the Scottish Fisheries Museum.

‘Stella Maris, CN158, was built in Port Seton in 1959 and was then named and registered ‘Watchful’ and ‘Majestic’, SY137.

She was built in Port Seton in 1959 and, prior to this photograph, had been name d and registered 'Watchful' and 'Majestic', SY137. In 1984, she was bought by Skipper Denis Meenan of Campbeltown. in 1985, he presented the ringnet winch from this boat to the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
