As part of “Museums At Home” we have added a wealth of new material to the Casting the Net site.

Covid-19 is keeping us at home but there is still lots of Scotland’s heritage to explore!  So, we have been busy during lockdown uploading interviews and images gathered by the project so that we can share it as widely as possible.

Crews of ‘Stella Maris II’, CN158, and ‘Fiona’, CN165, at sea, 1950s.
Crew pictured: John Reid, Joe Brown, Campbell MacBrayne, Walter Brown, Alec ?

Please explore what we have caught in the net.  Even if you have visited the archive before, you’ll find lots more of interest.  And we’ll be continuing to edit the Sea Stories over the coming weeks so come back and watch as they take shape.
